BIO AND MORE

In addition to photography, I am an art consultant, project manager, curator and can offer art hanging services.  I am especially skilled in bringing the idea of an exhibition to fruition from start to finish.  Previous project work includes The Bold Beauty Project (2016) and The Compassion Project (2019).

My work focuses on using photography for social change and I am driven to tell stories of others that don’t show up in the collective community gaze.  My past projects have featured women with disabilities and formerly incarcerated women. I believe that  the subjects’ own stories alongside portraits are powerful agents for creating awareness and making change.  For my latest project, This Skin I'm In, I am making portraits featuring the LGBTQIA+ community in Western North Carolina.

Exhibition History:

• Art Basel, Miami, Wynwood, 2013, Enlazes: Photography exhibition in conjunction with my father’s work featuring images from Oaxaca, Mexico.

• Bold Beauty Project, 2016, Bakehouse Art Complex, Art Palm Beach and Art Boca Raton

Photography exhibition featuring twenty five women with disabilities. Curated, project managed and produced this exhibition over a period of two years. Featured an image in the exhibition.

• The Compassion Project: The Art Of Compassion, 2019, Coral Gables Museum

Photography exhibition featuring twenty five formerly incarcerated women and their stories. Curated, project managed and produced this exhibition over a two year period. Exhibited six images in this show.
